More Than a Meal. 29 Dines is a Movement.
29 Dines is a food-focused community development initiative dedicated to transforming Twentynine Palms and the surrounding High Desert region.
Whether you're a student learning to grow and cook food, a local chef launching a new concept, or a resident seeking healthier options — 29 Dines is here to serve you.
We use food as a tool to drive economic empowerment, education, and local culture through events, training programs, and public policy advocacy.

Culinary Arts Education
We teach young learners to grow, cook, and understand food through our school-based Harvest & Thrive curriculum — rooted in sustainability, nutrition, and creativity.
Workforce Development
Our 6-week programs train local talent in front- and back-of-house skills, equipping them to launch careers in food service, hospitality, and entrepreneurship.
Pop-Up Food Halls & Vendor Support
We provide temporary and permanent spaces for chefs, caterers, and home-based food businesses to test, grow, and scale.
Food Policy Advocacy
We convene the region’s Restaurant Working Group and Food Policy Council to ensure small food businesses have a voice in shaping the future of our local economy.
