Curriculum Consultant

Classification: Part-Time, Contract
Position Summary:
The Curriculum Consultant supports the strategic design and continuous improvement of the Harvest & Thrive enrichment program across TK–6 grade bands. This role ensures alignment with California State Standards (NGSS, Common Core, Health Ed, SEL) and adapts content to be culturally responsive, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with PSUSD’s Expanded Learning goals.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and refine weekly learning modules and thematic units
● Align all materials to applicable TK–6 state education standards
● Create scaffolded activities for differentiated instruction
● Provide training tools and rubrics for instructional staff
● Conduct ongoing reviews based on site feedback and assessments
● Integrate cross-curricular connections in literacy, math, science, and wellness
Preferred Qualifications:
● Minimum 3 years experience in curriculum development (K–6 focus)
● Strong knowledge of NGSS, ELA/Math, and Health Education standards
● Familiarity with garden-based or experiential learning preferred

● Start: ASAP
● End: June 2026
● Time Commitment: ~5–10 hours/week, with flexibility and ramp-up prior to launch
